Teton Village Compound
This ski in ski out compound is located in Teton Village, Wyoming steps away from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Work on the property included a new 7,500 square foot main residence, the remodel of a 5,000 square foot guest house, and a new 1,200 square foot detached garage. The main house is a blend of new and traditional with clean modern lines and materials on the interior and reclaimed wood and stone on the exterior. The home itself straddles a seasonal stream. Ample glass take advantage of both the up mountain views of the resort and down mountain views of the valley. The previous main house was remodeled and turned into a guest house. The exterior ties into the rest of the compound with matching reclaimed siding and stone. The interior was given an fresh look. In addition to typical spaces such as bedrooms, bathrooms, and a kitchen, the interior also houses a climbing wall, exercise room, wood shop, wine room, billiards room, and ample storage. The detached garage took the form of a traditional historic barn using the same reclaimed wood and stone as the rest of the compound. The center bay was custom sized to accommodate an off road recreational vehicle know as the EarthRoamer.
